You were hoping for photographs of real yo-yos, weren't you? Sorry, those aren't available just yet.

I am very proud of this particular image, because this is the image that will show up on your iPhone or iPod Touch home screen if you bookmark any page on the Motoyoyo site. Just navigate to the page on your iPhone or iPod Touch, click the plus, click "Add to Home Screen", and then wait a few seconds for the logo to load and replace the silly little screenshot thumbnail. Then click "Add", and you're done.

This is the favicon, which should appear in various locations around your web browser, and in your bookmarks menu if you bookmark this site.

This is a concept yo-yo, as are all of the other computer-animated yo-yos underneath this one.

I call this the "Hand-cutter H-shape."

This is a very fundamental design in the world of 1A yo-yos. This design is easy to machine, relatively aesthetically pleasing, and it has a phenomenal amount of rim weight. This design is so fundamentally tempting that I am not surprised many other companies have used it.

I like this kind of yo-yo, it maximizes the width of the target for string catches. Whips are especially easy on this kind of yo-yo. On the rounded yo-yo above, the string catch target might seem just as wide, but during a whip the very gently tapered outer edge of the target can easily bump the string in the wrong direction, causing a miss. The likelihood of the string being bumped in the wrong direction is reduced during a trapeze catch, because the string being caught in the gap is taught in that case.

I call this the "Classic H-shape." I personally really like this design.

I call this the "Waterfall."

This design is made of just cones, no splines, arcs, or ellipses. I created this design so that it could be cut with a numerically controlled (but not computer numerically controlled) lathe.
